My Story
The beginning of my story started with my love for horses. Starting with simple riding lessons as a child to owning my first horse as a teenager. I’ve been riding and caring for horses for over 40 years, and like many bodyworkers, my professional journey began with a personal horse in need. Helping her led me down a path of studying equine bodywork, and I became certified in several modalities. I started working professionally with horses in 2010.
Over time, I began to notice that many of the challenges horses experienced were connected to patterns in their riders—stiffness, tension, or movement habits passed unconsciously through the reins and the saddle. With the encouragement of one of my teachers, Mary Debono, I began working with riders in 2020. Since then, my work has grown to focus primarily on humans, while I continue to work with horses as well. My clients now include children, teens, and adults seeking support for emotional regulation, anxiety, sensory processing, and stress-related movement issues. I hold certifications in Applied Neurology through Z-Health®️, I am a trained Franklin Ball®️Instructor, and since 2022, I’ve been enrolled in a four-year Feldenkrais®️ Practitioner Training program. I am currently authorized to teach Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons.
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful, lasting change begins with the nervous system. I guide clients in using movement as a way to reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and build resilience from the inside out. Whether I’m helping someone feel more coordinated in their movement, helping share strategies that manage stress, or working with a rider to feel more balanced and confident in the saddle, my goal is to offer compassionate, brain-informed support that acknowledges the whole person. I want to help you find solutions that are customized for your needs. I bring a curious, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to this work. I believe that meaningful and lasting change happens when we create safety in the nervous system and build from there—with patience, creativity, and trust in the process.
While horses will always be part of my story, my current focus is on helping people experience more comfort, balance, and resilience through the power of movement.
